Privacy notice

How Kryterion handles personal information.

This notice describes how information submitted through kryterion.africa is used and protected. Last updated 19 August 2026.

1. Who controls the information

Kryterion Limited, operating publicly as Kryterion Africa, determines how personal information collected through this website is used. Questions may be sent to info@kryterion.africa.

2. Information we collect

We may collect names, work contact information, organisation details, role, country, website links, the content of an inquiry, technical logs needed for security and any information voluntarily provided in follow-up correspondence.

3. Why we use it

We use information to evaluate and respond to inquiries, conduct partner or opportunity qualification, protect the security and integrity of our platforms, manage relationships, comply with law and maintain records of legitimate business activity.

4. Sensitive and classified information

Do not submit classified, restricted, operationally sensitive, health, biometric, financial-account or other highly sensitive personal information through public forms or ordinary email. Kryterion may delete or isolate material submitted contrary to this instruction.

5. Sharing

We may share information with authorised Kryterion personnel, professional advisers, technical service providers and prospective project participants where necessary for the stated purpose and subject to appropriate confidentiality. We do not sell personal information.

6. International processing

Some service providers or group participants may operate outside Nigeria. Where information is transferred, Kryterion will seek to use appropriate contractual, access and security safeguards.

7. Retention

Inquiry records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for evaluation, relationship management, legal obligations, security and audit. Ordinary inquiries are normally reviewed for deletion or anonymisation within 24 months unless an active engagement or legal reason requires longer retention.

8. Security

We use proportionate administrative and technical safeguards. No internet transmission is completely secure. Sensitive diligence should move to an approved controlled data room rather than remain in ordinary email.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability or deletion of personal information, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing. Send requests to info@kryterion.africa with “Data Protection Request” in the subject line.

10. Cookies and analytics

This launch version uses only essential browser storage needed for site operation and does not activate advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. If analytics are introduced, this notice and the consent mechanism will be updated before activation.

11. Changes

We may update this notice as our platforms, legal obligations and processing activities evolve. The date at the top indicates the current version.
